Gym Rules & Policies
Enrollment - Metrowest Gymnastics has an open enrollment policy. Although our sessions are 12 weeks long, a new student may start any week as long as there is space in the class. The tuition amount will be prorated.
Trial Class - Metrowest Gymnastics offers a no commitment trial class for NEW students. If the student is enrolled in the remainder of the session after the trial class, the tuition payment will be due by the start of the next class. If the student chooses not to enroll, the class is free.
Discounts - We offer a 10% sibling discount for families with more than one child enrolled in classes at the gym. We also offer a multiple class discount if a student enrolls in more than one class. The discount is applied to the class with the lesser tuition.
Make-ups - We allow up to 2 makeups per class per student. These make-ups must be completed in an equal or lower level class before the end of the session, and scheduled ahead of time with the front desk. Make-ups are not guaranteed.
Dress code - Preferred dress for girls is a leotard or shorts and a t-shirt. Preferred dress for a boy is shorts and a t-shirt. Please make sure your child removes their shoes and socks (no footed tights), jewelry, and has their hair pulled back in a ponytail before class starts. We do not allow any clothing with zippers, buckles, or the like that can get caught on the mats or equipment.
Parent Responsibilities - Parents should accompany young children to the bathroom before class. If they need to go to the bathroom during class, they might miss a valuable part of their lesson.
At all times parents are required to supervise their children who are not currently participating in a class. Please do not allow them to climb on the half wall or stand on the chairs.
Please call Metrowest Gymnastics to inform the staff of any illness.
Parents and siblings are not allowed in the gym, (past the half wall). Please refrain from speaking to your child during their class, and ask a staff member to pull your child out of class if it is an emergency.
Lost and Found - Metrowest Gymnastics collects items left lying around the gym and waiting area and places them in the lost and found bin in the lobby. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, broken, or items left behind.
